Hello Everyone!
Today I want to share a beachy double silder surprise card with you. I used – among others – the super adorable “Chickie Agenda” and “Little Mermaiden Agenda” stamp sets by Mama Elephant.
First, I die cut the elements for the slider mechanism from white cardstock. I cut a panel measuring 5,5″ x 4 3/4″ and scored it along the long side at 0.25″ from either side. I also cut another panel that fit in between the scored flaps, cut a slit into it on each side and put a strip of plastic bag through the slits to create the slider. Then I die cut the larges and two of the third larges “Basic Rectangle CC” from bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended one with clouds using Salty Ocean Distress Ink. The ocean panel was blended with Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Ink. For the main panel I used Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I also cut a small hill and ink blended it with the same beachy colors. I adhered the smaller panels to the sliding mechanism and closed the pouch.
I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in gold. Then I stamped and watercolored my images using Kuretake Zig Markers. Then all that was left to do was all of the images to my scene. I really hope you like this one!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
– Julia
