Hello everyone!
Today I want to share a homecoming card with you. My sweet crafty friend Lien (@idea_into_reality) recently moved and – of course – I wanted to make her a card! I really hope she likes it! I used the “Happy Village” Stamp set by Lawn Fawn, which was just perfect for the occasion.
I ink blended the sky with a cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass, the grass with a grass stencil and Shabby Shutters and the ground with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I stamped my sentiment from the set in a dark brown ink.
I stamped and colored my images using Kuretake Zig Markers. I cut them out using my Brother Scan’n’Cut. For the life of me – I couldn’t get it to cut out the sun rays. So I just stamped the entire stamp into the background and then added the colored image on top, so my sun still had those cute rays around it. I adhered the trees with liquid glue and everything else using foam squares. To finish the card I adhered everything to an A2 sized card base.
I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
– Julia
