Hello everyone!
Today I want to share another challenge card with you! The prompt was to use the brand new Build-a-House die set by Lawn Fawn and pastel or soft colors! I really wanted to make a fall card so I went with the “Jump for Joy” stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
To create the background I ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade and Dried Marigold Distress Ink. I die cut the Spooky Scene die from Hello Bluebird and used the frame, the hill and the trees for my scene. I ink blended the hill with Peeled Paint and the trees with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I die cut the house with the die by Lawn Fawn out of bristol smooth and the other parts of the house out of light grey cardstock. For the door I used some apricot colored cardstock. I ink blended the main part of the house with a brick stencil and Pumice Stone Distress Ink. To the grey elements I also added a bit of Pumice Stone for some dimension. I added a little Dried Marigold Distress Ink to the door die cut as well. I adhered the frame to the background and then added the hill and the trees using liquid glue. I assembled the house and added it to my scene using foam tape.
I added my sentiment from the stamp set to the hill. I stamped and colored my images using Arteza and Kuretake Zig Markers. I cut it out using my Brother Scan’n’Cut. I added leaves and the little critters to the scene using foam tape. To finish the card I adhered it to an A2 sized card base.
I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
