Hello and welcome back to my blog!
Today I want to share a springtime scene with you using the adorable “Fairy Garden” stamp set by Hello Bluebird.
First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah Solar White and colored them in using Copic markers. They were all cut out using the Brother Scan’n’Cut.
Then I die cut the Winter Woods Overlay and ink blended Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide onto it. For the background I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean and I also added some splatters using the InkOn3 Liquid Pixie Dust. For the hills, shrubs and tree tops I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles.
The sentiment was heat embossed in white.
I added the shrubbery panel to the background and the hill on top of that. After that, I figured out the placement of the tree tops and added those to the background as well. The Winter Woods Overlay was then adhered using foam squares for added dimension.
Then it was time to add the all the images to my scene. I added thin foam squares to the back and adhered them. To finish off my card I added lots of shimmer pen onto some he flowers, butterflies and fairy wings!
It’s really hard to capture the beautiful sparkly of the Pixie Dust and shimmer pen in a photo but in person it looks super pretty!!
I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
