Hello everyone!
This time I have a Center Picture Window Card to share with you! This was also once of those dies I HAD to have, but never actually used. So it was high time I did! I made a little spring scene using the “Butterfly Kisses” and “Tree Before and After” stamp sets by Lawn Fawn.
First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan’n’Cut.
I die cut all the pieces and also the add-on for the Center Picture Window card, as well as lots of little white clouds.
I ink blended all the panels with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide and I die cut some little hills as well. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn on those. Some splatters were added with the same inks, too!
Then it was time to assemble the mechanism. I added score tape to all the flaps of the die cuts. I used the score lines in the window piece to line it up on the inside. I adhered the right side first, flipped it over and added in the inside hill panels. I made sure all the parts were folded in half, removed the backing paper and closed the card. I pressed down really well to make sure the mechanism was secured.
I decorated the front and inside panels with little clouds and I heat embossed the sentiment and some dash lines for my butterflies in white. I adhered the hills on the inside and the front add on.
Then I adhered all my images to the card. I scored one of the trees down the middle so it could be added to the center of the inside window. The rest of the images were adhered using liquid glue.
As finishing touches I used lots of shimmer pen for added interest!
I hope you enjoyed this one and until next time!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
