Hey Crafty Friends!
I am so happy to finally be back with a new card. I hit a bit of a creative slump and I am just beyond excited to finally be back to crafting again! So, today I want to share a new #ChallengeACraftyFriend card with you. This time we did another redesign. We used the original Magic Picture Changer Card and turned it into a Reveal Wheel Card. We also have done a Scalloped Box Card of this card for a challenge in case you want to go and check it out!
If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!
First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored all of them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan’n’Cut. I also added some white gel pen details to the gift boxes.
I die cut the Reveal Wheel Base twice, once with a window and one without, the Wheel and the Wheel Base out of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I ink blended the window panel and the center of the wheel with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. I also die cut a hill and ink blended that with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Oxide and splattered it with the same colors for added interest. I also die cut lots of little white clouds from the Center Picture Window Die set.
I stamped my sentiment from the “Reveal Wheel Sentiments” onto the main panel and used the Reveal Wheel Template that matches the window opening to align my wheel sentiments. I heat embossed all of the sentiments in white.
Then, I added the hill, the white puffy clouds and all my images to the front of the reveal wheel panel using liquid glue and foam tape. I used the Reveal Wheel Templates to align the wheel, added it to the background with foam squares around the wheel base and then I added foam squares around the wheel on the background – making sure not to place any too close to the wheel and places my decorated panel on top. I cut an A2 Panel of striped Lawn Fawn cardstock and added it to a card base and then I adhered my reveal wheel mechanism on top.
Finally, I added lots of shimmer pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze for added shine and interest!
I really hope you enjoyed this one! I really had a lot of fun making it!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
– Julia
