Hello crafty Friends!
I am so excited to kick off my 2020 Holiday Card Series today! For Day 1 I made this sweet little shadow box card with the adorable ice skating mice from Lawn Fawn!
If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!
First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan’n’Cut.
I die cut the Lawn Fawn Shadow Box die twice out of bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended both pieces on the in- and outside using Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide. I added white splatters to the inside of the box pieces. I die cut two hills and the mountain add on and ink blended those with Shaded Lilac and Hickory Smoke. I added shimmer pen and Crystal Stickles to the images and let them dry before assembling the box.
I assembled the box using score tape and then I adhered all my images using liquid glue.
To finish the card I die cut a banner, stamped my sentiment on top and adhered it to the back of the box.
I had so much fun making this card, so I hope you enjoy it as well!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
