Hello crafty friends!
Today I am back with Day 15 of my 2020 Holiday Card Series! This time I have an new #ChallengeACraftyFriend card to share with you! The theme for this one was “Christmas Fun Box Card” so this is what I came up with.
First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan’n’Cut.
I die cut the main box panel from the Scalloped Box Card die twice out of red cardstock, 4 hill pieces, two background pieces – one out of red and one out of white cardstock and one forest border. I ink blended the white background, the hills and the forest border (see color map for the exact colors).
I cut off the flaps of the main box pieces and assembled it with the hills. I attached the background piece on the inside and added the red back piece with liquid glue to make the outside look seamless. I die cut the Scripty Merry die twice – one out of red and one out of silver glitter cardstock and layered them. I stamped the word “Christmas” in red onto a stitched decorative panel out of white cardstock and adhered it to the front of the box.
After that, I attached all the images using liquid glue. Finally, to embellish the card I added shimmer pen and Stickles. I really hope you like this one!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
– Julia
