Hello friends!
Today I am back with a post on the Heffy Doodle blog and YouTube Channel! It’s almost Christmas, so for today’s project, my cute little squirrels are building a snowman!!
I started by stamping the images from Nuts About You, Wanna Build a Snowman, and Santa’s Village on Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
Then, I die cut all the pieces for my box card. I used a die set from my stash but a few months back, I shared exactly how to make these kinds of box cards with the Big Shadow Box, Imperial Stitched Rectangles and border dies, so feel free to check out the blog post and video for all the details and measurements!! I added a little ink blending with Salvaged Patina to the back panel, hills, and side panels of the box as well as white snowy splatters to the background. I stamped the sentiment from the Elfing Christmas Words stamp set on the front panel with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide.
I assembled the box using double-sided adhesive and then it was already time to build a snowman! I adhered my cute images with Glubert and glue dots! I just love interactive cards and the amazing 3D effect of a box card is just so special!!

I had snow much fun *haha* making this card and I really hope it gave you some holiday card inspiration!!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! I wish you a very merry Christmas and happy holidays!
