Interactive Belated Birthday Box Card with Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends!

How are you today? This time I am back with a fun interactive box card for Moni’s Bastelkiste!! This card has been stuck in my head since I saw the Lawn Fawn Year Eleven stamp set with the little planet and the punny sentiment “Sorry I missed your birthday (I didn’t planet that way)”! I looooove a good punny sentiment and that one just cracks me up! So I used some other space stamps to create me cute little scene.

I stamped the images on marker paper and cut them out using my Brother Scan’n’Cut DX. Then, I colored them using Copic markers. Once I finished coloring, I die-cut all the pieces for the box using the My Favorite Things Outside the Box Level Up die set. I also used the cloud inserts for the Outside the Box dies. I ink blended the side panels and a background piece with a mix of rainbow colors and I die-cut another panel of dark blue cardstock with the Snowy Backdrop so I could have the deep blue background with the rainbow stars peeking out. I did the same thing for the side panels. I die-cut one of the Fancy Wavy Banners and ink blended it with the same colors as the background and stamped the first part of the sentiment on it in black. Then, I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment in white onto dark blue cardstock.

I assembled the box – please see the video below for a close up look on how it came together and then, it was already time to add all my adorable images. I adhered them all using liquid glue. I added white gel pen details and Stardust Stickles for some more interest and shine. I had so much fun making this one, and I hope you like it!
