Hello crafty friends!
How are you today? This time I am back with a brand new #ChallengeACraftyFriend card with my sweet friend Lien! As you maybe guessed already – the theme for this one is “Halloween”, so I used the adorable Lawn Fawn ghosts and bats to create my little spooky scene.
I stamped the images on marker paper and cut them out using my Brother Scan’n’Cut DX. Then, I colored them using Copic markers. Once I finished coloring, I die-cut a grass border as well as the giant “trick or treat” out of black cardstock. I ink-blended a panel of bristol smooth cardstock with a cloud stencil and Shaded Lilac, Villainous Potion, and Black soot for a spooky background. Then, I some splatters for added interest.
Finally, it was time to assemble my card. I adhered the background to an A2-sized card base, then added the grass with the pumpkins peeking out behind it.After that, I added the sentiment and of course all my adorable little critters!! As a finishing touch, I added crystal glaze on the bottom half of “trick” and “treat” and sprinkled glitter over top to make them look like they have been dipped in glitter. I absolutely loved making this card and hope you like it!
