Hello crafty friends!
How are you today? This time I am back with a fun spooky birthday card for Moni’s Bastelkiste!! I thought it would be really fun to make a more spooky birthday card for an October birthday!
I stamped the images on marker paper and cut them out using my Brother Scan’n’Cut DX. Then, I colored them using Copic markers. Once I finished coloring, I die-cut the frame and the word birthday out of black cardstock and heat-embossed the second part of the sentiment in white onto black cardstock as well. I ink blended a panel of bristol smooth cardstock with Shaded Lilac and then added clouds over top with more Shaded Lilac, Villainous Potion, and Black soot for a dramatic background. Then, I added some dots and stars to the background using the snow flurries stencil.
Finally, it was time to assemble my card. I adhered the background to an A2-sized card base, then added the branches and the black frame on top. After that, I added the sentiment and of course all my adorable little bats!! As a finishing touch, I added some white gel pen details. I absolutely loved making this card and I hope you enjoyed it as well.
