Today I want to share a my very first Christmas card of 2019 with you! I created a Santa’s sleigh slider card. I just love this mechanism!!
First, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Mama Elephant Framed Tags – Artist Mat CC and some clouds to go at bottom of the frame. I created the watercolor background with Distress Ink Reinkers in the colors Shaded Lilac, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. I die cut it using the Galactic Cover CC, layed silver glitter cardstock behind it and I added it to an A2 sized note card. I stamped my greeting and heat embossed it in silver.
I stamped and colored my images using Kuretake Zig Markers. For the Slider I adhered the sleigh and the reindeer to a strip of acetate to bind them together. I adhered beads to top and bottom on the back of both images in a straight row and created the slider mechanism as described in my rain shaker card posts: here. I made sure my Santa moved freely and added the front with the slider mechanism to the background to finish the card.
I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
